RouterOS on VMWare ESXi 3.5

Hello,

I have 2 servers running VMWare ESXi 3.5 (not ESXi 4.x)

Both of these servers do not support 64-bit virtualization.

I would like to test RouterOS as a Virtual Appliance.

Has anyone been able to set this up successfully?

ESXi v3.5 do not support IDE HDD. ROS do not support SCSI

Thanks for the confirmation. Looks like I’ll do a RouterBOARD instead.

But it supports many SATA controllers .

works wery well on esxi 4.0

thank you martini, unfortunately, ESXi 4.0 requires 64-bit virtualization, which my servers do not have.
