Hi all, this is my first post… loving the routeros, using an rb1000U.
I guess this isn’t just related to the hotspot, what I’ve been trying to do is get the hotspot working on ether2 and after authentication giving the user a public IP address (have plenty of them to give)
This doesn’t seem very possible with bridging, and bonding the interfaces works in broadcast mode however that is messy and unnecesary, not to mention the hotspot doesn’t want to work that way.
Having a heck of a time with the firewall rules and can’t find any examples where there isn’t NAT involved.
any advice is much appreciated, looking forward to implementing this.
