Hi All.
Why do SSH radius login do pap by default and not settable? (Don’t Read me Wrong I need pap because I use one time passwords there are nothing to challenge on so chap is not an option)
And Why do Winbox radius login only do chap by default and not settable? (This hits me because I need PAP, because my one time password to the backend radius server.)
I think MT need to work on the consistency of Radius in the login universe be it winbox, winbox/dude, ssh, telnet or web.
- Selectable password scheme (perhaps on the radius server level itself)
As of now with my onetimepassword I can only use ssh and not winbox. If I instead say static password and require chap I can only do winbox and not ssh. is this 2018 or what?
Am I missing something vital or is this the sum of the current situation?
