RouterOS Reinstallation

Hello there,
I got a problem with my MikroTik RouterBoard 750up. I reset it to factory settings but i checked the “No Default Configuration” so i could not log into it using winbox. In a search for a solution, i got the article at http://www.mikrotik.com.my/reinstalling-mikrotik-routeros-without-serial-port/. I tried to install v6.36.4 but it failed with a “Timedout” error, no response form the router.
Then when i tried agian, the router could stabliy connect to my PC. The ethernet port could atempt to connect but disconnects immediately. It kept doing the same. So now i cant even afford connect to it using netinstall.exe

Kindly help me if there is any step i can take to save my router.
Thanks

It’s hard to tell the exact state the router is in now. But “no default configuration” is no problem at all. It just means that router will have blank config, no IP addresses or anything. So you just start WinBox, select Neighbors tab and router will be there. You click the MAC address, enter user “admin” with blank password and you’re in. If you didn’t try it before, try it now. From your description it sounds like you weren’t really able to install anything, so there’s a good change the router is fine.
