Hi guys, I’m very new here.
Recently I was trying to start using routerOS, i’ve downloaded netinstall and routerOS 6.12 packages for x86, installed on a pendrive and booted from there. Everything went ok.
Now, I can add an ip address to my ethernet interface and add a default gateway but my wlan1 interface is disabled for some reason and when I try to enable this interface (from command line or web interface) the OS reboot without any warning.
I’m running the routerOS 6.12 on an old toshiba satellite notebook with this onboard network cards:
zeus@TOSHIBA:~$ lspci | grep -i ethernet
04:00.0 Ethernet controller: Qualcomm Atheros AR242x / AR542x Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express) (rev 01)
05:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8101E/RTL8102E PCI Express Fast Ethernet controller (rev 01)
I tryed running the same routerOS version on an Asus eeePC netbook with same wireless network card but with the same results, the OS restart when i try to enable the wlan interface.
Any help would be appreciated.
