I try v7.0beta4 witn Sierra Wireless MC7304 but it still at PPP mode not LTE.
This is oposite howto, from default lte to ppp mode: http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/sierra-mc7430-4g-lte-a-mini-pci-e-modem-ppp-issues/99391/39
You should check the directip settings, the usb type-mode and internal at command to work with LTE mode and have latest modem firmware (not MikroTik).
You read the : https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Peripherals notes to your modem?
For switch from PPP to LTE mode, you need switching to MBIM:
/interface ppp-client at-chat ppp-out1 input=“AT!ENTERCND="A710"”
/interface ppp-client at-chat ppp-out1 input=“AT!UDUSBCOMP=8”
/interface ppp-client at-chat ppp-out1 input=“AT!RESET”
then reboot router.
Everything work fine, but you will completely lose the ability to enter AT command.

Will this work with any modem or just this one and only within ROS V7.
I’m not trying highjack the thread, but I’m having this issue in ROS 6.47beta35 with a LM940. It’s enabled but no LTE. Pins are taped etc..
