Routeros v7.1 bgp templates

Hello i think i found a bug yesterday…

Routeros 7.1 CHR

I was updating my VPN concentrator yesterday everything went well.. until i noticed one of the bgp prefixes was not being published. So i made a new template to try to fix it. But i accidentally referenced the default template to the default template…

immediately after I made the change the whole routing engine of the router just crashed. Cpu was stuck on 100% cpu usage and i could not get any information from cli under /routing or /ip route

So i think it would be a good idea to disallow referencing bgp templates too itself. I needed to reinstall so i dont have a supout unfortunately :confused:

Did you find an solution to revert this?
I had exactly the same, after i noticed our subnet get not advertised i tried some options and accidentally did the same..

My router is unusable now, and also after a reboot the cpu is 100% and the settings are all empty also commandline a cannot change this any more..

Is there any other way possible except resetting?
