RouterOS Winbox Error: Wrong username or password

I am not familiar with Mikrotik.
I have a second hand RB 433, which was used for wireless connection.
I tried set up a new configuration, but the Winbox can not connect via IP address nor MAC address

Could somebody help me how can I step into RouterOS ?

If 10.10.66.20 is not on the same subnet as your PC, then you can’t connect via IP but should be able to connect via MAC address.

The default username is admin, password is blank. Both username and password are case sensitive.

If a password is set and you don’t know it, you’ll have to reset the device to factory config and start over.

Once reset, plug your PC into port 2, your PC should take on an IP and your device IP should be 192.168.88.1

To Van9018: thanks for the useful information, after resetting to factory default I could use Winbox.
