Well, unless the chip is encrypted then it is theoretically possible to read it with appropriate electronic and software tools.
The question is, would you consider yourself a “target” for someone with such advanced equipment and knowledge?
If you really need high level of security then you should really know that use of the same user/password on multiple devices/services is a very bad practice.

Physical security is also important. And you can always enclose your device in epoxy, forbidding such type of access ![]()
