Hi all,
I need know your exprerince for choose best solution routing each node bts, with use crs or ccr.
I need know this because managing budget with best solution.

i would want know your exprience performance with crs mode routing bgp/mpsl for throughputwiht 300-400mbps with CRS317-1G-16S+RM

I have yet to test this device, but I doubt it.

CRS is a programmable Switch, but CPU power is not suitable for routing (software) that bandwidth, acccording to its specs:

Best bet for that duty if budget is no object: CCR or RB1100AH.

Low Budget: possibly suitable with some optimization: Hex or RB3011.

My persona probles is, i need 8 port sfp for each node.
The probabily solution is buy mediaconverter sfp /gigaethernet .

The “easy” solution would be a CCR1072-1G-8S+ :smiley:

Another possibilities:

  • Use a router with an SFP+ port like CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+ plus a suitable switch, like CRS212 or the CRS317, connect them via SFP+ at 10G with a DAC cable and you’re set.

  • Budget option: a Hex + CRS212.
