I setup a PPTP connection with Private Internet Access and need to set it up with a proxy given to me by my university. My school blocks a lot of ports would like to be able to Skype my family and play online games with friends. I set the router up with the static IP and PPTP information already but I can’t figure out how to route traffic similar to using the http-proxy option in OpenVPN (which Router OS doesn’t support AFAIK)
PPTP cannot be routed through a proxy.
And in general, it is unwise to try to work around measures put in place by a facility to regulate the network traffic and computer use.
