Routing Public IP

Hello forum members,

My ISP gave me a /29 ip block i.e aa.bbb.cc.209/29. I used .210/29 in my mikrotik WAN and .209 as gateway. Now, I want to give my clients the remaining IPs i.e. .211, 212, 213, 214. I can’t also bridge the LAN & WAN because I am already giving private IPs to the client.

Now, some of my clients are asking for Public IPs.

How can I route it?

You can make tunnels between the clients and wan bridge or netmap public ip to local ip.

Configure it as /32!

Doing this you will be able to route it normally, either via static routes or dynamically.

You may also do an EoIP tunnel. It is easier, but consumes more bandwidth.

Did your ISP give you a /29? .208/29? Or did they give you 5 static IPs, and they control the gateway? .209?

Two acronyms: MPLS and VPLS

I guess an EoIP or IPIP tunnel can also do.

Solved my problem.
I talked to my ISP and they gave me a link IP address for WAN. I just added a /29 address in my LAN.

I gave clients the remaining ips with my LAN IP as gateway.
