Routing RIP Alternative Paths

I have a RIP scenario for reference.

  1. When ping 192.168.1.254 from VPSC attached with Router4, Its responding via Router3(10.42.2.0/24 > 10.3.1.0/30) and working fine.
  2. But when i shutdown the Router3, its not going through other alternative paths. i.e Router2

Configuration for Routers attached, please help me on this.
