I have a Routerboard 433 UAH with 2x USB ports and have plugged the first 3g modem to one usb port and it worked fine I could go to the internet via Wlan1 and ether1.
I have now added another 3g modem from another service provider and disabled the first one, my problem is now like this;
I can only go to the internet via Wlan1 but not via ether1 I have tried adding default routes and no help … I can ping from ether1 to wlan1 using different subnets but cannot ping anything through the ppp-out2 from the ether1 subnet.
eth1 = 10.145.10.1/24
wlan1=192.168.10.1/24
One thing I have realized is that I can add networks and automatically the router adds its route tables, is this normal?
I thought I could add my route tables statically … for example I just enabled ether2 and gave it address 172.168.16.1/24 and it was added automatically to the router table …
is there something I am missing?
