Rstp between 2 mikrotik router

Hello Experts !

I am trying to setup failover scenario between 2 links, router A, bridge with all 3 ports included, and Router B same, configured rstp. But i dont see port status to root bridge, they all remain as designated port and when i connect 2 links between these routers, the link fails !

Internet —Router A— --Router B----- user
----ether2 -----


I have tried to put Router A bridge with priority 1000, but still it would not say root port. Says designated port.

Any help !

Set priority lower on internet gateway router.

tried that but still same. the port would not go root. I think on one of the link the link passes with many switches such that it does not see its connected.
