Hi,
I have a lab setup running here in Melbourne with an RB1100 split into 3 MRs. The MRs are connected in a ring with multiple Juniper PE devices established and connected to this ring. For some reason, the Juniper devices are showing that no RSVP hello messages are being recieved from the Mikrotik routers and hence the RSVP link is not coming up.
It is possible to establish a CSPF enabled LSP (traffic-eng tunnel) between:
- Mikrotik to Mikrotik
- Mikrotik to Juniper
- Juniper to Mikrotik next-hop
The following LSPs would not establish: - Juniper to Mikrotik (via another Mikrotik router)
- Juniper to Juniper (via Mikrotik routers)
This is a symptom of the RSVP interface not being up because of the lack of Hello packets being recieved from the Mikrotik. Can anyone explain why these messages are not being sent?
