Any chance to see this HW chipset supported?
On WIN + MAC + Linux there is an options at the software furnished by a vendor to make the HW work as Client or AP mode (in this case sharing already existing internet connection on PC).
The USB feature seems interesting sometimes. There a vendor that are using HW equiped with chipset installed at the antenna feeder (or vy close to it) minimizing RF losses on pigtails and all those delicated wiring.
So you put the antenna (25dBi grid or 12dBi 60ยบ sector) at the tower/pole with ROS HW (PC, Routerboard, whatever) up to 10m away using USB cable (not LMRs coax). Clean installs, one single RF + antenna package with good finishing & weatherproofing.
