I’m debating on adding a basic RTS/CTS configuration to my installers config scripts so that its set automatically at install.
If NSTREME is enabled on the CPE does NSTREME’s protocol override the RTS/CTS framework, or do I have to remove any RTS/CTS configs that may still be present on the CPE to avoid added overhead of the RTS/CTS framework?
Are there any advantages to using RTS/CTS on 802.11g/n/a networks or will it only add overhead and decrease throughput?
This question answers itself. If you can use Nstreme, you have MT clients. If thats the case, Nstreme takes care of everything and much more than the crude workaround of RTS/CTS. If you have non-MT clients with laptops, some using B-only, I would think thats the only case for RTS/CTS–wouldnt it be?
