Running CHR on Centos 8 KVM

Hi,

Recently i try to running CHR on KVM with Centos 8
I use this command :
virt-install --name athena --memory 1024 --vcpus=4 --network=bridge=bridge0,model=virtio --graphics vnc --disk path=/home/vps/chr-6.47.2.img,size=1,bus=virtio,format=raw --import --noautoconsole
Mikrotik OS is up running, but i cannot ping my gateway and outside network.
The current kvm network bridge main interface of Centos 8, so guest OS is directly to internet.
Other guest OS is works with this current network setup.

Please help, where should i do to have CHR Running on Centos 8 KVM.
Thank you in advanced.

Regards,
Franky

Hy Franky, we will need more information to help you. What is the network segment of your ouside network? Do you have a DHCP server for that network or is it a manual config? What are you going to use the CHR for?

i actually have the same problem on centos 7, but only on Cisco UCS blades.
so my stack is UCS blades > centos 7 > kvm / libvirt > CHR
it boots ok, but can’t reach the outside (not even the host)

it works when i use this exact config in a dell blade (m1000).

what’s your hardware?

@esunarto When working with blades, getting to the outside world with the network could be done by modular switches or Pass-Through Modules. What will be the case for the Cisco and the Dell blades? If it is a switch what is the model?

the cisco is “passthrough” , dell is switch (dell power connect M6220)
