Running out of free ports on RB493ah

I have one RB493AH and i am running out of available ports, I intend to upgrade to RB1100AH but in the meantime as i use 5 of the 9 ports in bridge mode on a /26 to the AP’s (Will move to /28 to free up ip address’s), is to use a standard 8port switch to combine these AP’s and use only one port in the 493, I don’t use any traffic shaping on the 493 is there any issues that could arise from using this plan?

That should work fine. Actually, it should work better with a hardware bridge rather than software bridging on a router.

Thanks for the responce, good to know that a hardware bridge to combine the AP’s will perform better than using the bridge in the 493.
