Rx Drops On Bridge

Upgraded to V.6RC2 on my RB750G and I am now getting Rx drops on my LAN Bridge. Downgraded to 5.21 and they stopped. Just letting you guys know.

Still getting drops on RC4 firmware on both a 750G and a 750UP.

I can confirm this on RB450G, RB750G, RB751G and RB2011. But I didn’t notice any problems, maybe a display glitch?

I am also getting rx drops on vlans that i was not getting with version 5.22

Does version 6 just do a better job of showing rx drops or is something really wrong?

i have the same problem on rb750 rc4 ,

if RouterOS does not know what to do with certain packets/IP packets of certain protocols than RouterOS is not accepting them and driver show them as RX drops - packet was received correctly, it was not damaged, but we do not know what to do with it and so it was dropped. In RouterOS 5.x and previous RouterOS accepted them in from driver and then discarded them.

You can check this by running packet sniffer - when you run sniffer all packets are going to be accepted and no RX drops will occur.

at least i did not notice any difference on what and how services on PC are working.

Turning on packet sniffer does get them to stop accumulating.
Basically with 6.0 there is an improvement on the mikrotik seeing the unknown packets?
