I’ve had a couple RouterBoards used for basic in-home internet access over the past 14 months or so.
I was looking at the ethernet statistics for one of my routers handling my cable internet connection and noticed a small number of RX overflows.
I didn’t notice any performance issues, but I’ve had routers up for several months and just in the past week I noticed this one was showing a few overflows. I will keep my eye on it.
My question is - what would cause something like this to happen typically? The router is plugged into a Motorola cable modem. The network is a traditional home network. Just basic NAT and single WAN link.
