S+RJ10 availability

Our distributor postpones delivery repeatedly. Are these SFPs available?

Hello! They are now available in some onlineshops like meconet.de and mikrotik-store.eu.

Thanks. Ordered a bunch.

Ordered some from mikrotik-store.eu, too. Received them today - after two days.

Got them today. Plugged into a CRS317-1G-16S+.
What a shame. Shows link without a cable plugged in and lights go on and off. Auto Negotiation shows done/10Gbps. TX Counters increase. Seems to be a wireless card.

SFP Info show 1m Copperlength and Wavelength 1280.00nm.

Hello, became interested in their purchase and there was such a question. Modules should be installed on both ends of the cable or at the other end of the cable is a 10G switch port that supports this speed?

SFP Info says the same here, TX Counter is increasing, too. Auto Negotiation is done, too, but Rate is “unknown”, the LEDs are off. Doesn’t look like DDM is supported, i would like to know the temperatures, because the modules are quite hot (i can’t touch them longer as a few seconds). beside that, they are working as expected, i linked two CRS326-24G-2S+. My 10 GbE NICs will be delivered tomorrow, further testing incoming. Can’t verify 10 GbE throughput yet, bandwidth test doesn’t get higher than 700 MBit/s because the CPU is the limiting factor with 100% usage.

Documentation says “other brand”, so it should be possible to connect to another 10G Card/Switch. I can tell more tomorrow, when my Asus XG-C100C 10GbE Cards are delivered.

Hi, Did you manage to test the module with the Asus XG-C100C card?

Hello,

yes i did a few tests. Everything fine so far, there are a few driver issues with Linux (you basically need to compile the driver from ubuntu 18.04 source), but the Windows machine is fine. Tested with 30m CAT.7 S/SFTP cable between CRS326 and Asus XG-C100C, 10 GBit/s up and running.
