This seems that this is NOT a Static IP given by ISP, It will be a dynamic IP.
Which type of connectivity do u have from your Provider..???
maybe it is interface routing? use MT v3
its pptp client first my isp given ip and gateway
ip 192.168.101.50
subnet 255.255.255.0
gw 192.168.101.1
dns 192.168.101.1
when dial pptp connection my ip change
ip 10.10.10.3
subnet 255.255.255.255
gw 10.10.10.3
dns xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
i test on my xp machine its working then i setup to mt
first i create dhcp client
then set pptp-client on the following interface then se the user name password
its status is connected but when i check my route they given error . the pptp-client assign same and and gateway mt not accept this gateway
when in windows you set gateway as local ip, it’s like interface routing, i.e. next hop is looked up on interface
