same vlan ID 2 different interfaces

What happens if I say have VLAN 100 on ether2 and ether3.

Is the broadcast info shared across the interfaces?

If I have a workstation on ether2/VLAN100 and ether3/VLAN100 could I create an IP conflict?

Hi,

You can create the same vlan id in different interfaces without any problems and does’t conflict with the others. Basically are different interfaces.

If you want do to a TRUNK you need to bridge VLAN 100 – Ether 1 - VLAN 100 - Ether2 in that case will be broadcasted from on to the other.
