sangoma interface lockup problems

Actually two problems with the sangoma interface.

  1. it shows up as two interfaces sangoma1 and sangoma2
  2. when i try to set the line to cisco-hdlc it freezes

Anyone have either of these problems/know how to fix?

btw this is a sangoma 5148(single t1)

I have one of these also. Mine shows two interfaces as well - I think this is because it is the same PCB as the dual port version without the guts for the second port…that’s my guess anyway. We just keep the second one disabled and it works fine. I haven’t run mine in HDLC mode, but set it once for testing and it didn’t lock up. This was with 2.8.26.

It would appear that you cannot make changed during when the interface is enabled, however if you disable it, then make changes, then enable it, it will work. Also, you cannot enable it through winbox it would seem.

while telnet does seem to work. very frustrating, mikrotik if your out there please fix!
