Schedule Question

Something I was thinking about. Is there a simple schedule on one port to shut internet down say from 10:30pm to 5:00am? I thought this might work on an HEX 750GR3.

Well there is a time function on IP Firewalls, found in the EXTRA tab.
However if a session has started before the time becomes active, I dont think the router stops it.
I did recently where that was an issue under parental controls that was noted and perhaps MT was addressing this to stop sessions cold.
Thus besides the TIME in IP firewalls one should look under parental controls to see what else is available.

Thank you. I will look at that.

Another idea: if that port doesn’t need any communication (not even other LAN hosts, such as NAS or DLNA server or printer or …), then you can simply disable the ssid port. That’ll break any ongoing connection as well. Brutally too.

You could disable the route to 0.0.0.0/0 - that will kill the Internet. I think you’d have to create a script for this, and a schedule to run the script. You’d also want another script and schedule to enable it again.
