Schedule - startup (v6.35.2)

hello which means “startup” will the countdown begin now?
or when loading the router?
or do I need to specify the time?

The interval is ignored when startup is set.

^Incorrect^. In the original post the script would first run 5 minutes after boot up and then every 5 minutes. If no duration is specified (00:00:00) it will run once right after boot up.

We are both wrong according to the wiki by Mikrotik.

Note: if scheduler item has start-time set to startup, it behaves as if start-time and start-date were set to time 3 seconds after console starts up. It means that all scripts having start-time is startup and interval is 0 will be executed once each time router boots. If interval is set to value other than 0 scheduler will not run at startup.
That is why I asked Mikrotik many times to do a sanity check when applying a settings box so it would automatic set the value to zero.

In my post I outlined current behavior. This is exactly how its working for me for some time. As to their Wiki I have no idea if its correct or current I just know how it works as I tested it and determined the operation.

That is then a aditionsl call on Mikrotik to keep up to date with the Wiki. Maybe give users to propose changes in the Wiki. This will also be a trigger to Mikrotik give some attention to outdated pages that are giving incorrect information.
