Hi all,
I have PPTP vpn connection, however the other end is a cisco end and it appears that the flaky internet causes the connection on the CISCO end to disconnect. However the Mikrotik still reports that its connected even though no traffic is being received.
I need a shceduled script to ping a remote IP (over the VPN) say every 15 seconds and if it does not receive a response then disconnect the PPTP connection and attempt to re-establish the connection.
Can you guys help me please as im not good with scripts or scheduler.
