script is not running

Hi guys
A friend of mine got a script to disable the pppoe-clint automatically when the ethernet is disable or unplug or when the status of the pppoe-clint is not running
and then the pppoe-clint will automatically enable after random time ..
The script that he got I think it is locked on a mac address or serial number of the routerboard , when i use it on my routerboard does’t work , and also i reset his routerboard and apply the script it is working , but on any other routerboard is not working ..
I tried to make some changes but it is still does’t work ..
The serial number of My friend Routerboard is ( 4687048FAFAA ) and the mac address is ( 04:18:D6:E6:CF:19 ) and My serial Number Is ( 574A04C51CAD ) ..
