script to record time of login and logout

Me again :slight_smile:

My friends :

I need your support to build a script which record time of each login and logout for any clint in my network .
also mail this records periodically to my yahoo account ( really i need this issue to make double check when I’m out of my country ).
Note I use OS v 3.30 and use PPPoE

I appreciate your advice .

You don’t need a script for that. You can set up system logging to store pppoe logs in file.

In the manual you can find an example how to log to file

Also it lists all available topics, in your case you need “pppoe,info”
