please i am having a challenge with three devices. one set of the device is ubiquiti am 5g-20 sector antenna with a base box 5 (rb912uag-5hpnd
) connected to it… which is setup as an Ap bridge on the client end is an LHG 5…
now after setting up the sector and base box in ap bridge mode and the LHG in station bridge mode. at very close range of about 100metres…the lhg doesnt pick up the ssid, seems like the sector antenna is not broadcasting..
this same configuration is what i use in another location.
note: there is no internet connectivity, we want to use the link to push camera feeds.
i have tried everything possible change mode, change frequency they dont see each other
thank you for response, is there any difference btw the rb912uag-5hpnd and base box 5. i noticed they have two difference product pages. because i have used this same antenna with a base box 5 and it works fine…
please someone should help me figure this out…i need to close out on this configurations please its very urgent
summary of the question again i have a rb912uag-5hpnd attached to an ubnt am5g-20 sector antenna…but when i configure it as an ap bridge and use an lhg as the client equipment…the lhg doesnt see the sector ssid in the wlan list
Usually this is because the client and access point’s WIFI parameters do not match. Unfortunately my IT tambourine is on an upgrade, and without it I can’t determine what they don’t match only by the client settings.
PS
You have a default list of scanned frequencies set on your client. As it was written above, the frequencies 5150-5850 are scanned by default.
Set LHG:
band - 5GHz a/n
wireless protocol - any
scan list 5000-5250
