Sector Writes on RB751G-2HnD

Hi everybody
I have a question about sector writes on RB751G-2HnD.
I just bought this new router for a day, but the sector writes had increased to 125939…
It increased about 600 per hour.

I did not enable web-proxy. And I set log, graph not to store on disk.
I have plugin a 16GB usb disk for SMB.

I thought that I had misconfigured something..
So I load to default but it is the same result.
BTW I am using v5.18.
Has anyone got the idea?

I had RB450G for the similar configuration. But only 255 writes for 29days of uptime. RB450G is v5.12.
Does that means I need to downgrade RB751G-2HnD to v5.12?

Now that I am afraid of killing the flash, so I had to turn off the my new router:(…

I restore to the default, and /sys check-disk … nothing helped..
The sector writes still increased about 600+ per hour.

Is there Anyone using RB751G-2HnD? What is your sector writes?
Or any advice?

I have a RB751U-2HnD, and I also affected by this problem.

I cannot decrease the writings anymore, but there is still some intensive flash writing in the background…

I’ve got a RB751G-2HnD and after 15 days of uptime I’ve got 714 393 sector writes.

I see around 8.3 sector writes per second (on average). This is around 500 writes per hour. This 751G is used only as a basic AP for about 4-5 clients. I have not seen the high flash utilization yet, but this is more utilization than my 450G with graphing enabled.

My RB writes 32 sectors every 5 min. But graphing, dhcp, etc is off.

Its always been quite high for myself, my 751 is usually pretty busy.

I had a similar problem on devices RB751 and RB2011.
The problem was resolved after the upgrade all devices to version 6.0 Rc6 firmware - 3.02. Updating is done using netinstall.
