I have sanyo radio’s and there is an optionto run 802.11b/g or 802.11b only or 802.11g only.
At the moment I have selected 802.11b and whenever I select 802.11b/g all the b clients drop. Is this normal or I am I not understanding the way b/g is suppost to work?

If you ap is in b and g mode both type of clients should be able to attach. However if any b client attaches, communications to you g clients will be draged down to that of a b client. The higher through put on g require a better signal to noise ratio, so in a noisy enviroment g clients may not attach if you have disabled some of the lower speeds. But if your set up is correct there should be no reason the clients drop.
