I appreciate your Help

I think Wen you surf MSN the PIC which is showing in to front page will come along with HTTP Cache..I am NOt sure but u dont require the access rule

thank you but I already tried it.
Is there any idea to force all pictures that I surf as much as i can …
i mean some of them are dynamic and most of them are static .. what i want is to put them all in cache and especially i am wondering if SSL connections are redirected to WEB-PROXY ?

my needs are to put dynamic and static pictures in cache and https connections that hold .gif and .jpg .. i want to put it in cache.

Thank you for your understanding

if you open a page, the pictures are ALREADY put in the cache, there is no need for such rules.

normis

yes , but pictures with HTTPS are not given from Cache that is why i am asking ..

does https connections pass through cache ??

normis is right .

it depends on what you configure in your web browser and the router. if you use transparent proxy, make sure your NAT rule also forwards the HTTPS requests to the proxy (it doesn’t use the default 80 port)

Skynoc .
Thank you but I already know that everything you surf especially for pictures is taken from cache but i want to make sure or to force cache for high level .. taken from cache since i am creating access list .

normis.
How can I forward https connection to proxy since I have 3 interfaces .

first interface = Local
2nd interface = ISP-1
3rd interface = ISP2

ISP-1 is for HTTP only that I am using .
ISP-2 is my gateway and it appears that HTTPS are coming from ISP-2 not from my web-proxy .

Thank you,
Ghassan
