sending data to serial port

Hello everybody,
i have searched the internet and of course this forum for a while but apperantly nobody had this question/issue before.
I’d like to know if there is a possibility to bind an ip adress to the serial port so that the data (sent with UDP) can be forwarded out of the serial interface. I’d like to replace an ethernet to rs232 converter that is capable of recieving data at a socket (UDP or TCP) over the ethernet interface and sends it to the serial interface.
I would be glad if anybody could help me answering this question.

It is possible - use ‘remote access’ feature under ‘port’ section.

Thanks for the answer. I had already tried a little with the specal login but i was not sure if it is also possible to send udp packets to the serial port.
