Separate Browsing and Download Routing.

Hi guys,
I got some problem here.
I have 3 internface at my MT, 1 to vsat, 1 to adsl and 1 to my client.
Right now, because my vsat connection just good for download something, i wanna apply this condition :

  1. All browsing from clients using adsl connection
  2. All download from clients using vsat connection

I just googling but not yet find some manual about this, some people says it possible by using squid. Thereis possible for MT to do this kind of routing? Or anyone have complete guide please?

Hard to do as a lot of downloads are HTTP, but you can send FTP Traffic out the vsat. Up to you on that.

On squid we can found routing by extension type, like .iso .exe .mp3 using which routing and general services like browsing with extension other than above going to another routing using ACL function, wish MT has same rules :slight_smile:

I have already tested your scenario under Squid in my Linuxbox. It worked ..
