Yes, this can be done. You are effectively using 2 wireless links to make 1 full duplex wireless link.
I will do it via routing,
Create 2 routes on each side, then from left side, route via top link will have higher priority than route going via bottom link, and other side reverse this, I.e. Rout with bottom link gets higher priority that route with top link.
Then from left, you will send via top link and receive via bottom link, and vica versa for other side
