Serial terminal garbage

I have 3 RBs (RB532A & R411) that do not respond after I did upgrade to ver4. (Yes, I updated the license)
It does not even show in Winbox detect.
I want to try netinstall but cannot access them via serial cable. I just get garbage and tried 9600,8,N,1 with/without flow control. Even with a new working board, I cannot get serial to work.

What am I doing wrog?

The default speed is 115200, not 9600.

Ok, got it working thanks.
Managed to get 6 boards back up that was ‘blown’ according to my technician. 2 old faithfull RB532A as well.
