I don’t know when this started, but Dude 3.0RC3 for many (but not all) devices, when the service failes, the device goes directly into tha ACK state, and no outage is registered, so I do no longer know when the problem started.
Is there some new configuration in Dude 3.0 that makes devices go directly into ACK state without registering the outage ?
Thanks,
Alexander
maybe notifications (ack>down & ack->up) gonna help you
Can you explain more about this ?
I chequed notification, and I’m not using them.
So far I understand, notification enables sending an e-mail/pop-up/sound I’ve never used it.
But in Dude 2.2, every time e service gots down, dude shows this as failure and entered an register in Outages with the date/houre when the problem started.
I needed to manualy ack an issue, bu downtime still continues to count in Outage.
Now I need to check acknoleged divices every time to check if some divice gotas down and automáticly acknolege by dude. No registration about date/houre the problem started
Thanks,
Alexander
i’m actually not shure about outages in ack-mode
for notification go to your device, on page notification, select popup and go to configuration of notifications (click on button with three point), then double click on popup notify, go to advanced page, and select all needed types of notifications
btw - maybe just unack this devices? (:
