On my dude program. The general tab for equipment will show many times that there are two services 1 down and 1 acked or two different statuses somehow. But the equipment only has one service assigned. I am using the dude beta 11. All the devices that existed before i upgraded to this version have this problem. They think they have a service that doesn’t exist. Because of this they never go to a true down status and do not notify me of outages. I was hoping that MT would be able to fix this in their next release.

The same here, sometimes devices stays “partialy down” when they are fully reachable, sometimes stays “partialy down” when are unreachable…
it depends on what service your Dude is monitoring. it will say partially down if snmp is monitored, but not reachable, but the ping goes fine.
I am monitoring only ping, so how do I disable that snmp monitoring?
You’re probably experiencing a bug in Dude 2.0 beta 11. Services get ‘duplicated’ and may show ‘partially down’ while this is not the case. This should be fixed in the next release, so just sit tight
