We use Dude v2.2
RB 230 at NOC
RB 133 and RB 150 at remote sites.
The connection from NOC to remote sites is PPTP VPN. Means, all remote sites has their own internet connection and we only want to monitor their devices via PPTP VPN. Each remote sites device were scaned for couple services (such as cpu, disk, dns, ftp, http, memory, mikrotik, ping, router, ssh, telnet).
When one of them disconnected for some reasons and return for services, two of services can not be recovered; they are mikrotik and router. The snmp that shows bandwidth utilization also not recovered.
BUT if dude restart, all services will be fully recovered including the snmp.
What is the cause of the problems ? Cause it’s impossible for us to restart our dude each time one of remote devices return for services after disconnected.
