Set ETH2 as WAN port

Please can advise the simple and easy way to set ETH2 as WAN port use DHCP ! Thanks !

You add the DHCP client to the relevant interface in:

/IP
DHCP Client

Try to be more specific - “not work” is rather vague.

Make sure that the interface is not in a bridge or slaved to another interface. Check the status of the interface - is it up? Speed? Duplex?

If you post /export compact we can take a better look at what you have going on and make more accurate suggestions.

  1. properly bring “WAN”/Eth2 port L2 configuration. then set up static ip or bing up DHCP Client or DHCP server for it.
  2. bring up routing. bring up masquerading[if necessarily].
  3. set-up firewall.
