set fixed download and upload speed for all connected users

Hello,

I’m newbie in Mikrotik, and need some help,

I need to set fixed speed for all connected users (automatically)

like: any connected user will get 256k download speed and 128k download speed


please help,

Please be more specific.
Connected from ethernet, wifi?
With pppoe, hotspot?
Etc.

You use the RouterBoard simply like an Access Point
or really you use HotSpot service to log-in [free or not] each user by WiFi?

I use HotSpot service to log-in (not free) wifi

You can set on two (chose your case) point the profile limitation:

On HotSpot / User Profile
open the profile and on
“Rate Limit (rx/tx)”
and put inside
“128k/256k” (the syntax is upload/download)

If you use user-manager package you must add limitation on profiles, then add a limitation to a profile used by users
