I’ve been reading through the documentation on how to set up a Wireless repeater on my Mikrotik device.
I have a master RB433 which has DHCP enabled on the wlan interface.
I wan to add another RB433 that just repeats the signal from the main interface and therefore enhances availability and coverage.
I don’t want to assign DHCP nor do anything on this secondary device, just relay the signal from the main AP and use the default AP’s DHCP server to assign addresses to the users.
What is the quickest way to accomplish this? I tried setting the device as a station, scanning for networks and connecting to a device but that doesn’t seem to work.
Any suggestion on what I might be doing wrong? Should I have the DHCP server running on the bridge instead of the wlan interface?
