Setting client speeds

Hi,

In another post, Uldis says:

“In your case if you want to limit the speeds for the wireless clients I recommend you to use Wireless trasmit/receive limits that are configurable in the Access list of the AP, because then the clients will not flood up the network with lot of traffic which then will be dropped on the AP by the simple queues. In case of the Wireless transmit/receive limit the client will not send faster than the AP told him to (this saves you air time compared to the regular simple queues that are on the AP).”

However, when I set a client’s speed using the Access List, the upload setting works correctly (if I set it to 2M, the client can send to the AP at 2M)… but if I set the download speed to 2M, the client only gets about 1M. But if I turn off the speeds in the access list and use the simple queue for the client IP address, everything works perfectly both directions.

Is this a bug? We are using “AP bridge” on the AP and “station pseudobridge” on the client… running v3.2 on both.

I just upgraded one of our AP’s and all clients to 3.4 and I am still seeing this problem. ???

Is anyone else seeing this issue?
