Hello gurus.
I am a bit struggling with setting them up.
I have been using happily one of them set up via quickconfig as Home AP dual, three SSIDs one 5G one 2G and guest. Everything else almost default settings.
Singnal on the other side of house is bad, so i decided to buy another one and set up as an AP, and switch.
There my problems started. I am not able to set it up correctly.
PS i have got cable at the oter side of the house. It will be connected to the main one directly.
i dont need anything fancy. Just those same SSIDs as on the first one and some roaming i suppose. and working ehernet ports when i want to connect something at the other side.
I know, for you this question may seem simple stupid, but for me it is everything i need.

Yup use the above reference to help you setup a structure.
Use AP-WISP quickset for the hapac acting as an AP switch to get you started and then modifications after that are MINIMAL
-use a bridge
-create any vlans required to match vlan IDs used on the main router
-config wifi as required
