I am setting up a repeater and everything seems to be setup right but I can not get my client CPE to Authenticate via Radius through the main tower.
Here is how I have configured my setup.
We build a unit with a 433AH and duel Air cards (R52H/XR2) R52H is my master connectin to my tower in Station WDS mode.
My XR2 Card is my AP in AP Bridge mode.
My base is connecting to my tower via WDS / PPPoE and Authenticating to it via secrets and it has a static IP assigned.
I can then ping the internet after it connects.
Now I have the AP set up in AP Bridge mode and I can connect successfully to the AP with my CPE.
My main tower point to my Radius server for authentication. And normally after I connect to my repeater AP the CPE would authenticate via PPPoE through the Main tower and show as an active connection on its ppp.
For some reason it is not even trying to Authenticate. The log shows nothing on the CPE even trying on the main tower like it should.
Do I need to make a change on my power router or is there something simple I am over looking on this? I do have 3 other repeaters set up and working and my configuration is like those but it just does not do the authentication as it should.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreaciated! I am sure it is something simple that I can not find! Frusterated after 3 hours of messing around with different things!
