Setting Web-Proxy : Web-Proxy Error : port alreasy in use

I am try to send syslog to proxylizer server , while setting the web proxy error

“Web-Proxy error : port 8080 already in use” is echo’d in system log.

RouterOs Version 2.9.6
only 8080 port I am using to set up proxy .

Can any one help me?

u have /ip proxy and /ip webproxy

make enabled webproxy and desabled proxy. maybe this is the solution. :confused: :confused: :confused:

you need to upgrade to v4.16

the upgrade is free, if your license is legitimate

My client is using v4.6,

For testing purpose I am using v2.9.6 ,

Is there a possibility for proxylizer working with v2.9.6 ?

yes, proxilyzer can work with v4.6, maybe it will even work better than v2.9
