Setup a single Mikrotik Router who does only VPN

Hello,
hope you are all fine.
I am wondering, if you can tell me if this possible.

I have a well working network enviroment.
I am thinking about to run a mikrotik as a client in a network.
I would like to make a portforwarding from the main router to this single mikrotik.
And this mikrotik should be accessable via VPN and of course I want somehow to connect to my network.
Any ideas if this can work?

Easy to do, why not do it on the main router. Do you have a network diagram to share?
Also is the WANIP on the upstream router publicly accessible??
